My name is Dolores Esparza and I am an abstract expressionist artist. I use water-based paint products and materials to create my paintings, because I am sensitive to oil smells and I love the speed at which the paint dries. I frequently use bright and happy colors like orange, magenta, yellow, purple watermelon and teal. I love how these colors make me feel. My painting subjects are found in nature like flowers, oceans, trees, boulders, desert scenes and sky. I want the viewer to see something different each time they look at the painting. I want to thank my new art collectors in Arizona, Nevada, California, Kansas, Massachusetts and Texas for appreciating my art. I am looking forward to continuing my education by traveling for inspiration. My mission is to create beautiful, colorful and meaningful images that people of all ages, groups and countries can enjoy long after I am gone. The process is therapeutic for me because the world and time stop when I paint. Likewise, I want people to stop and admire the colors and painting even for a moment. Art is food for the soul. This is a very lofty view of how I will contribute to the enhancement of joy but I am committed to my mission and will continue to paint every day.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
